Cross Island Line Phase 2

On 20 September 2022, LTA announced the the alignment and station locations of the Cross Island Line Phase 2 (CRL2) from Bright Hill to Jurong Lake District.

Construction works for CRL2 are expected to commence in 2023, with the stations opening by 2032.

Once complete, the Cross Island Line will be the fourth MRT line, along with the upcoming Jurong Region Line and existing East-West Line and North-South Line, connecting JLD to major business centres and education hubs in the West and Central regions within 30 minutes.
